If you use external providers, their rules apply on their servers. Mux offers a "deny data collection" option for some providers — all we can do is ask nicely.
Channels are containers for shared context inside a workspace. Putting shared context in a channel keeps it out of the way of unrelated work, avoids polluting every session, and favors specialization — each channel can be scoped to a particular area.
